Michael Jaworski, PT, DPT, MHS, MBA

Michael earned his Doctor of Physical therapy from the University of Montana and also holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from Cleveland State University. Michael currently serves as the President of the Mid American Rehabilitation Network and has served as a Director on the executive Board of the Ohio Physical Therapy Association. He has 37 years of experience in treating orthopedic injuries and musculoskeletal problems. His current area of interest is in the prevention of falls in our senior members of the community.

Rosemarie Jaworski, PT, DPT, Certified Vestibular Therapist

Rosemarie is a graduate of the Cleveland State University Physical Therapy Program and received her doctorate from the University of Montana. She has been associated with Jaworski Physical Therapy, Inc. since 1985. She has been Certified in Vestibular Rehabilitation since 2003 and has a special interest in treating vestibular, balance and gait disorders.

Barbara Hornbeek, PT

Barb has been with Jaworski Physical Therapy for 26 years starting as a part-time physical therapist and working into the Clinical Operations Manager position. Her specialty is treatment of the spine. She is certified in the Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy of the Spine (McKenzie).

Kimberly Stumphauzer, PT

Kim is a 1992 graduate of the Medical College of Ohio Physical Therapy program in conjunction with Bowling Green State University, and has been associated with Jaworski Physical Therapy since 1996. Kim's specialty interest for the past 20 years is with sports medicine, with a strong passion for rehabbing athletes back to their specific sport. She also a has a strong interest in working with various musculoskeletal/orthopedic conditions of the extremities and the cervical spine, with a recent keen interest in migraine/headache management using manual techniques and postural strengthening.

Joseph Stumphauzer, PTA

Joe is a graduate of the Physical Therapist Assistant Program at Lorain County Community College and has been associated with Jaworski Physical Therapy since 2003. Joe's primary area of interest is in sports medicine and orthopedic related injuries as well as working with and developing strength and wellness programs for individuals of all ages.

Beth Krepop, PTA

Beth is a graduate of the Cuyahoga County Community College Physical Therapist Assistant Program and has been associated with JPT since 1992. Beth's special interest is in the area of geriatrics with emphasis on static and dynamic stability, along with general strengthening. She also works closely with Barb Hornbeek, PT. in using the McKenzie principles to treat low back pain. Beth coordinates volunteer opportunities to students interested in pursuing a career as a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapy Assistant.

Linde Duke, PTA

Linde graduated from Lorain County Community College, and started with JPT in 2002. Her primary area of interest is in sports rehabilitation. She enjoys working with general orthopedic conditions as well as post surgical patients.

Leslie McGinnis, OTR/L, CHT Certified Hand Therapist

Leslie is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Allied Medical Professions (Occupational Therapy) and received her Bachelor's degree from Miami University. As a certified hand therapist, she specializes in the treatment of hand, wrist and arm injuries and has a special interest in treating arthritis of the thumb, fractures of the hand and wrist and work related injuries. Her focus is to help individuals return to their occupation of living day to day whether it is work, completing personal care, or being able to return to their specific leisure interests. She has lectured locally and statewide on hand rehabilitation and has been associated with Jaworski Physical Therapy since 1996.

Janet O' Dell, OTR/L

Jan is a graduate of the Cleveland State University Occupational Therapy Program. Jan has been associated with Jaworski Physical Therapy, Inc. since 1996. Jan specializes in the treatment of children with developmental delay and developmental disability and coordinates the occupational therapy services for children referred to our clinic. She has an additional certification in Neuro-developmental treatment techniques, and enjoys working with individuals of all ages with neurological deficits.

Ann Hamker, ATC

Ann earned both her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Athletic Training from Ohio University. Ann's areas of interest are in concussion rehabilitation emphasizing the management of return to activity/work. She also works with the development of advanced strength and conditioning programs for all active individuals as well as skills training for high school and college athletes. You will see Ann on Friday nights working on the sidelines of the Elyria High Football games as well as tennis, basketball, wrestling and in the dugout with the Elyria High Softball program as she is one of two Certified Athletic Trainers providing athletic training coverage for all of the Elyria City Schools Athletic Department programs.

Laura Breese, MA, ATC

Laura earned her Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training from Ohio University in 1996 and her Master's in Athletic Training from Western Michigan University. Laura joined the JPT staff in the fall of 2008. Balance and sports specific training are Laura's area of interests. Laura is one of our two Certified Athletic Trainers providing sports coverage at Elyria High School. She is also adjunct faculty at Lorain County Community college and enjoys presenting at continuing education courses for Athletic Trainers and Physical Therapists.

Israel Maldonado, LMT

Israel is a graduate of the Youngstown College of Massotherapy and the Utah College of Massage Therapy. He has more than nine years of experience in a clinical setting, dealing with various types of injuries. His specialties include deep tissue, orthopedic, and trigger point therapy. Israel will work as an adjunct to our rehab/wellness practice and also offer private, self pay massages.

Administration:

Jean Barnett, Billing Manager

Jean is one of the pioneers of Jaworski Physical Therapy, Inc. She began her career with JPT in 1989 as a receptionist/ secretary. Over the years she helped grow the practice from its start as a part time clinic, to one of the most well-known and respected physical therapy clinics in Lorain County. Jean previously served as an Administrator, and now works part-time and oversees the operations of the office/billing department. She is here to help you with any concerns or insurance issues you may have.

Deborah La Vigne, Receptionist

Deb has been with Jaworski Physical Therapy for over 4 years. She is the first one that greets you when you enter JPT. Deb assists patients with their initial paperwork and with scheduling appointments.

Lisa Brubaker, CCA

Lisa is a graduate of Lorain County Community College with an Associate's degree in Applied Business. She also obtained certification as a medical biller. Lisa has 17 years of office experience in a medical setting. Lisa joined Jaworski Physical Therapy in 2013 and serves customers as one of JPT's receptionists and medical billers. Lisa will greet you with a smile and positive attitude when scheduling appointments and answering general billing questions.
