Tip of the Month:Start slow - you can exercise 5-10 minutes a day to get your body back into the routine of physical activity. MARCH your way into spring ...Spring is just around the corner and the weather will be fantastic to get outside and be active! There are many ways to get physical activity outside such as playing tennis or golf, going on a bike ride around the neighborhood, taking a walk through Ohio's beautiful Metro Parks or even planting a garden! Try to mix up what you do everyday - you'll be more likely to continue exercising if you're not bored. Your routine may need a little spring cleaning as well. Try your sneakers on to make sure they are still comfortable and have good arch support. If you use workout clothes, make sure they still fit well. Your equipment may need a little work too - make sure there is air in your tires of your bicycle. Ask your therapist about your exercise routine to make sure it does not need to be tweaked to better suit you. And as always, check with your doctor before beginning any physical activity!
